Globant Sportian embeds Stripe to Enable Fan-Friendly Payments on Sports Platforms

Sportian, the sports division of Globant, has embedded Stripe’s advanced payments solutions in an initiative to improve the fan experience on sports platforms.

This collaboration will help sports organizations to provide smoother and more personalized payment experiences, paving the way for enhanced fan loyalty and improved monetization.

Sports entities using Globant Sportian’s digital ecosystem will now gain access to Stripe’s global payment acceptance, fraud prevention, and revenue optimization tools. This will allow clubs, leagues, and federations to offer their fans a frictionless purchasing experience—whether for tickets, merchandise, digital content, or subscriptions, adapted to the fan’s unique profile and preferences.

Globant Sportian’s ecosystem of products, used by dozens of global sports organizations such as LALIGA, Major League Rugby and the Belgian Pro League, will offer Stripe’s technology to streamline transactions and generate new data insights. These insights will help sports organizations refine their fan engagement strategies, develop new monetization models, and create more personalized experiences for supporters.
